Dr. Paul Zarda – A Multi-Faceted Professional Based In Orlando

Dr. Paul Zarda is a multi-faceted professional with theoretical and practical expertise in the area of Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) and Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering (MCAE). He has chaired a Mechanical Design benchmarking team at the local and corporate level.

Dr. Paul Zarda’s educational and practical experience background enables him to perform detailed analyses in a wide range of areas, including: Thermal Stress analysis, Heat Transfer analysis, Static and Dynamic analysis, Buckling analysis, Aero-Elastic Flutter analysis, Shock and Response Spectrum analysis, Servo-Structure Interaction analysis, Modal Extraction Analysis, Component Mode Synthesis, Acoustical (in air and water) analysis, Compressible and Incompressible Propellant Grain Analysis, Fluid-Structure Interaction analysis, Compressible and Incompressible Fluid Flow analysis, Rigid Body Dynamic Analysis, and more.

Dr. Paul Zarda received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University in the year 1974.  He served as an Assistant Professor in Engineering Science at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. for two years (1974-1976).  He was a research analyst at the David Taylor Naval Research and Development Center from 1976 through 1978 concentrating in the area of finite element modeling of acoustical fluid/structure interaction problems.  In 1978, he joined Westinghouse a Senior Engineer in the design and analysis of nuclear steam generators.  He joined Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in 1980.
